The increasing prevalence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in cancer patients, including catheter-related thrombosis (CRT), underscores the urgent need to optimize clinical practice. ITAC-CME is committed to improving the lives and health outcomes of patients worldwide and helping reduce a substantial economic burden on health care systems.

This mission is accomplished through the dissemination of educational initiatives to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, focused on relevant and peer-reviewed prophylaxis and treatment guidelines for VTE in cancer, including those published by members of ITAC-CME.
